Angry Why is my bsl running high when I'm eating less carbs?

I am getting SO frustrated. I have eaten very little carbs today. I've been living on 60g for a start because I thought my bsls would be risking going lower and I wanted to be cautious about avoiding that.

Sorry for the TMI but my blood sugars were higher than normal (around 10 mmol/L) because of "woman troubles", which always sends it up. Now I am passed that I was HOPING my bsls would be nice and steady, but they aren't, they are running high.

Today I woke up and my bsl was 14.1 mmol/L! Then an hour later it STILL hadn't gone down, so I changed my infusion set on my pump. This SEEMED to work, and I went down to 10.2 and was feeling slightly relieved, but then it shot back up to 12 and now just seems to be sitting there.
I tested my temperature with a thermometer thinking maybe I was coming down with illness or something. Nope! 36.5 celcius. I had a fan on here so that would make sense.

I considered maybe I was eating too much protein, but I don't eat much meat, I do eat a decent amount of cheese now. Would that really drive my levels up THIS high though?

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong or what may be happening? (apart from getting frustrated lol)
