I have not been here since 2011. It has been a very traumatic experience in my family as my father passed away. Regarding diabetes management, i was sloppy because of the visits to the hospital, etc. over a period of three months, starting with ICU shock. Nevertheless, I would not say that the stress, high as it was, had such an effect on the glucose numbers. But the fatigue was great. The average measured yesterday was a common 6.2 over three months. One new symptom I have noticed is an increase in sweating, mostly in the back of my head with itching while I sleep commonly. I just feel burned out now and wait for time to stabilize everything.
