- About lethabjones
- I am a married mother of four, three daughters and one son. I am a retired city clerk, but still as busy as I can be. I'm currently editor of a sports blog called Saints Gab, though I can't blog as much as I used to because of health issues. From this, you now know that I am a huge New Orleans Saints fan and also LSU Tigers. I love football! My hobbies include cooking, making candles and bath and body products, writing, dancing, and listening to music. I am particularly fond of children and the elderly. When I was healthy back in 2008, I held an afterschool/summer program for children in my community, as well as a GED study program. I also organized a breast cancer walk with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komein Foundation. I love God, I love people and I love life; that love makes us all family. I use my life to try to make a difference to others, to be a blessing if I can.

- Your experiences with diabetes
- Diabetes changed my life because it caught me off guard. It wasn't something that ran in my family. It came following steroids for asthma. I'm currently on shots and pills, none of which I like, but I want to live, so I take them. My injection doses were recently increased and have really started to hurt. Metformin isn't my favorite either because it hurts my stomach. But I do what I have to in order to try to get this thing under control. I'm also trying Cinnamon cassia bark. Currently, my A1C is 11! I'm at a loss, y'all!
