Good day all, My name is Beth, nice to meet you all. I have been reading this forum and it is very informative. I got diagnosed Novemeber of 2012 with type 2 diabetes. It is a eye opener and and a on going learning experience. My A1c was 8.3. Tonight my p.m.(still learning abbreviations) bs was 137, this is the lowest it has been ( cheer cheer), it's getting better. I am married to my sole mate going on 23 years now, 2 furry children, mini doxies. Have a good night. Looking foward to sharing and learning with you all. Thank you. Beth

Welcome aboard, Beth. Jump right in with any questions or comments. Your household sounds a lot like mine with the furballs & years invested, only this is second-time-around for us, so we're more than 25 years up the road from you in age. And I'm on 2000 met also. So far it keeps me well balanced along with my LC/HF way-of-eating.
