Default Introduction

Hello friends. I am about 5 years into my diabetes diagnosis. On my semi-annual check up i was met by a new physician whom I had never met. My provider of 7 years retired and i did not know she was. Anyway the new doc has no bedside manner and rather rude. He immediately put me on lantus and novalog. It caught me by surprise and actually ticked me off. I have been on them about 18 months and am actually doing well. I just started back on an exercise routine and am walking a mile or about 45 minutes to an hour a day. Last night i only got up 1 time to pee, and slept very well. I joined this forum to get some pointers to getting off the insulin and staying healthy.

Hi! Glad you found us. A good way to begin to understand diabetes is to read Blood Sugar 101 and also for a diet many of us follow with great results. LCHF for beginners | DietDoctor.com

Ask any questions of us and someone in this wonderful group will know the answer most likely.
