Ok so just got back from drs and being sent to hospital because of ketones in my urine, on the upside no urine infection so can stop the antibiotics and get on and heal the thrush the dr did mention something like ketoncdous or something, but who knows, going for blood tests to find out, fingers crossed!!
All I can say is I must have been the biggest ***** of an evil woman in a past life to deserve this.

Let him/her get annoyed then! Too much research shows too many bad things happen to people on statins and they've been shown to not be effective on women and very much less on men except and unless they've already had heart problems.

Your doc may have jumped to the conclusion that ketones automatically mean ketoacidosis . . . many of us here have ketones in our urine because we eat the low-carb/high-fat diet. It has nothing to do with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), but even many professionals don't seem to know this. If your blood sugar is low, there is no ketoacidosis - only ketones in your blood & urine because you aren't eating carbs.

Anytime you need talked down off that cliff, come on in. The folks here are used to pulling each other away from the edge. I know they did during my hard times. Some of my biggest mistakes were backing away into the darkness to try and deal with it all myself. We are all friends here so come and talk anytime if you need to. We'll leave the light on for you.
