Default Feeling more positive!

Had a really positive day yesterday thanks to all of you on here giving some great advice. Today has been painful but bearable. Total carb intake so far today is 16.69g compared to yesterday's 80.98g have got drs this afternoon so fingers crossed my bs is down and if its not well I think I will cry myself into a coma because today has been tough. Had bacon and poached eggs for brekkie and a sandwich for lunch cause there is no good foods in my house. The carbs I have had were mainly starchy so hopefully won't spike too much.
Doing a urine sample for base line kidney function today not sure how long those results will take and also another one to see if the uti has finally buggered off, again fingers crossed cause if I can stop antibiotics and concentrate on shifting the thrush then my outlook on diabetes won't be so bloody bad!

Once again want to say thank you to everyone on here sharing advice problems and ideas it has helped me cope enormously!!

The old saying... "A problem shared is a problem halved" does have some truth to it. Maybe the problem doesn't go away immediately, but just having someone (or many someones) to vent to and who in return support and encourage makes it so much easier to cope.

This forum is great for this.

By the way - no reason you can't repeat the breakfast menu if you don't have appropriate LC options for lunch.

Was thinking about having breakfast again for lunch but for some reason got it in my head that too many eggs are bad?? Did I make this up dream it or is there any truth in it?

I've been concerned about that too! I've been having about 6 eggs a day (lots of different recipes), not to mention heavy whipping cream. I cringe to see my LDLs!

Your LDL's will be fine...not to worry. Carbs drive LDL, not fats.

Hard to bend your mind around isn't it?

LDL is the 'bad' cholesterol, Sarah.

Truly hard because my LDLs went up last time while HDLs went up and triglycerides went down. The doc is getting annoyed with me because I won't take the statins.
