Now on Victoza. Junevua and metformin

Blood sugar going down nicely

Only issue is the metformin causes me some serious diaherea. Does this go away?

Thanks

In most cases yes - but have you considered the extended release version which I understand to be less viscous than the standard version.

For me, I had diarrhea for many years on it. But once I started going low carbs, and especially after adding fats to go LCHF, none at all. Not sure if the diet is what changed it or not, but seems the most likely reason. I still get plenty of fiber.

Personally I was on it for two months and those particular side effects did not go away or even much vary. I always needed to be near a bathroom. The extended release version has given me no issues at all. In my view it's worth a shot rather than trying to wait out the perpetual squirts the regular version gives people.
