It's actually pretty normal to occasionally feel like you're low, when you're not really low. Getting adjusted to lower numbers can cause this, and so can rapidly going up or down, even if you "land" at a normal or high level.

Most docs don't live with this stuff; many of them have no idea.

Your endo is not a pharmacist (and, most likely, not a very good endo, either ... oops, won't type that bit out loud). Best of luck with the new one!

If you still get hassled when you ask for a brand switch ... is there a chance you can ask your pharmacist to consult with your doc? Docs are often connected with a pharmacist, and sometimes we have to nudge them to get together.
