Hi FoxI
I got a protein shake yesterday Chocolate very good very small leg cramp last night went away didn't even have to get out of bed.. It's called lean whey . It was not to expensive .

Hi Was at my doctors yesterday he was pleased that my sugars have been between 4.3 and 5.6 2 hours after meals. Also said lean whey protein was a great idea and stevia. Thanks Foxl

I read somewhere on the forum if you get a charlie horse, stand up and put all of your weight on that leg. I thought it was an old wives tale, it's so painful how can you stand on it, but I tried it and as soon as I was on my feet, the pain stopped, and no sore calf the next morning.

Rosebud- i have the same problem. What i found remedied it is tums 1000. They realy help. I keep some at bedside. Take 2 every night. Helps a LOT! Hope his helps

This squares with taking calcium supplements for muscle cramps - as DH has for years. The calcium content in Tums would sure do the trick.
