Hi , Im Joy , T2 -1 YR 4 months now. Low carb Keto controlled A1c last was 5.2 and plan to keep controlled , take Metformin 1,000 mg daily with 20 lbs left to lose , in the US.
Will be nice to meet you all.

letstalk....welcome aboard! I wish I had been smart like you when I was diagnosed with type 2, 11 years ago. I really did not get control of my diabetes until the Spring of 2015, when I found this website.

You are doing exceptionally well...my last A1c was 5.9, my best ever has been 5.8! Tell me what your daily carb intake is on average and any other secrets you use to keep it all going...

I eat very low carb right now to get off the last 25ish lbs off then will go into maintenence- i basically follow Atkins induction- 20 carbs a day I am in Ketosis again for the 3rd time in my life , no secrets just keeping myself disaplined with what i put in my mouth.
