If you want, share with us some details so we can get to know you and maybe some of the things you have done to combat your diabetes.

Here are some good starting points to read

Blood Sugar 101 - VERY informative and accurate a tried and true testing method lists foods for LCHF

""You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever the doctors want you to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." "

Welcome! It's always good to see readers become posters! With ten years of diabetes management, I'll guess you've figured out a few tips and tricks. I hope to see you post more soon!

Now with less sugar!

A1c 10-30-2019: 5.6 with no meds. Thank you LCHF!

First big share-
I think I just learned one of those “bring you to you knees” lessons over the last few days.

I will never ever ever go outside barefoot even for a few minutes again. short version of the nightmare- barefoot outside, no visible sign of cut, scrape or splinter, 3 days later horrific toe infection, Allergy to many antibiotics, scared to my core not only over the rapidly worsening infection (thinking amputation) while in the mountains (think podunk town) but I’m equally terrified of the antibiotic I need to have potentially killing me. The longer saga can be found in complications here

What a week it’s been! I am glad to say I’m improving slowly. But still scared...
