First big share-
I think I just learned one of those “bring you to you knees” lessons over the last few days.

I will never ever ever go outside barefoot even for a few minutes again. short version of the nightmare- barefoot outside, no visible sign of cut, scrape or splinter, 3 days later horrific toe infection, Allergy to many antibiotics, scared to my core not only over the rapidly worsening infection (thinking amputation) while in the mountains (think podunk town) but I’m equally terrified of the antibiotic I need to have potentially killing me. What a week it’s been! I am glad to say I’m improving slowly. But still scared...
