Hi! My name is Alan. I have diabetes like most of you and have struggled for a long time! It runs in my family, so my mom, some of my couins and other extended family expierence the struggles that we do. I am excited to be apart of this group, help answer questions when I can and have a place of support!

Welcome, Alan! This is a great group of people. There's lots of support for anyone who want to manage their diabetes rather than let it manage them.

Hey Alan, Welcome to the forum! I come from a family of diabetes as well. Both parents were T2. My siblings and I are diabetic. fortunately, we are all managing our T2.

I hope you continue to post. I've learned so much from everyone here. I believe everyone brings something to the table.

Hi Alan, nice to meet you. Welcome to the forum.

We're not perfect, but I bet we can help some with struggles. We all were, at one time or another, where you are.

I am like Tony, tell us more. How long ago were you diagnosed, did you suspect anything or did it come as a total surprise?
