I have never had any medications at all for diabetes but I was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago. My BG was almost 400. its under 100 at all times now and I have been under 70.

I live a full ketogenic lifestyle. I love to hear stories like yours to show how a change in your diet can reverse diabetes. I hope you share your insights and experiences while also respecting others' choices. We dont push any one type of solution here. we provide guidance from our experiences and details that can help people understand Diabetes and make the best decision for themselves. We dont judge any decision that people make. You story can be inspirational to some folks and will help them make better choices for themselves.

Thanks for joining and welcome to the forum

Awesome! Welcome to the "Ancestral Diet"! My biggest surprise what when I kicked the addiction and my sense of taste returned. Now I EAT TOO MUCH !!!! FOOD TASTES SO GOOD !!!! I thought it was just "old age sucks".

My best GB's come after I have been fishing or gardening. Upper body workout like swinging an axe has the best effect. I can't do any exercise that my body thinks I am running for my life. I hit was above 160 do to my ever so helpful liver. I have to enjoy my exercise.

I also taught myself to cook.
