Default I'm Back!

Hi all,
Sorry, I fell of the wagon in 2019 and have been a bad boy.

I didn't think it would ever happen to me, but, like many warned me...it did! Good news it I have not gained any weight as I am still 60 pounds lighter than I was before I found LCHF in 2015.

My last A1C in Sept. 2020 was 7.8! OMG...6 months before that I was 5.9...

Regardless, I went back on the LCHF on Monday, and I did good as I am now in the 'carb flu'...ain't it great!

Hope you all are doing well...life is good for me, but I knew I needed to get back on track!

Welcome back! Good to see you're back on track. It happens...

Posting on this site has been down some and I've chalked it up to COVID-19 and the economy and politics/the election and just general 2020 -- people have lots of other things occupying their minds. Remaining upright in 2020 has been a bit of a feat, particularly for us diabetics, so it's nice to see posts from folks after they've taken a break. I look forward to seeing your posts more often.

Hey div2live, welcome back. Glad you have found you bearings and will be headed back in the right direction. I think we have all done a. little drifting off course now and then.

I think my vocabulary has been reset, instead of **it happens, 2020 happens. I think we all have been impacted by it in many ways, most not good. About the best thing I can say about it is that it was a good year to retire.

I think in the future we'll say "Don't go all 2020 on me!" when someone is acting crazy.
I'm still planning to retire at the end of the year--I should have done it at the beginning!

Welcome back, div2live! I did the same thing a few years ago. I think we all go through "diabetes fatigue" at some point. Like itissteve said, posting is down on this site, but I hope it never goes away!
Hope to see more of you around here!

Thanks all....

I did miss many of you regulars...! I have noticed on other forums, I participate in, that they too have seen a large drop in postings. I am retired, and I am glad some of you too have taken the leap or are getting ready to take the leap...

Once you get used to 'retirement' it is actually pretty nice! Took me over 3 months to get my head straight when I retired. Now, much later, I am not sure my head is straight, especially with this Covid scare, but I am enjoying retirement anyway...

I've been involved with some other things and haven't been posting much, but I visit often. Just noticed your thread. So good to see you back on the forum.

I just noticed your thread as well. I've been seeing you on the other thread. I also noticed little activity as well. I haven't seen any "newbies" in a long time. Three years later, and I'm still here.

Welcome back div2live.

thanks alamogirl....

I stopped posting on that other thread quite sometime ago. The split we saw happen on this forum that caused that new forum, has really ended up diluting both! To bad we cannot get everyone on one...as you know when you get to few, most lose interest....

Hope you and yours are doing well....have a great Thanksgiving
