New here. Type 2 diagnosed in 2010. Last A1c 7.4. Been the round of meds Currently on Xigdou and Trajenta. I’m a shift worker in the social services field. Mourning time bgl is a struggle usually 7.5- 9.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Glad you found us, but hate you had to.

I worked 3 shift rotating shift for about 30 years and then worked 2 shift rotating shift for the last years until I retired earlier this year. I definitely understand the difficulties of managing diabetes and shift work.

Hello Muzzled,

Welcome to the forum. I have been able to manage my T2 by eating a low carb/high fat diet. I follow my version of KETO. I also take Metformin. Exercise is also important. I have a Pilates machine, Gym Chair, and a stationary bike at home. When I get bored doing that, I do Leslie Sansone walking exercises. I don't do anything strenuous

I hope you continue to visit. There is a wealth of information on this site.
