I think the question is quite straight forward. All obstacles aside, what A1c level do you want to achieve? That could even be a range if you are not a person who fixes on very specific goals.

I understand that there is no magic cure-all. Believe me, I have worked my butt off to meet my own A1C goal. I am curious what ACTUAL personal A1C goals are of individuals in this community, though....

I am curious about the personal goals of individuals, rather than of institutions. I know what doctors recommend; I want to know if this aligns (or not) with individuals' goals.

I have been fat my entire life, and I also began to become extremely preoccupied with my weight in adolescence. Not that it got me healthy. Mostly, it taught me how to lose huge quantities of weight...

I'm Sarah. I was diagnosed type 2 in Autumn of 2013 (at 25 y.o.) with an a1c of 11.5. My latest a1c was 5.2!
