I know alot of diabetics dont like the term pre diabetic but that what my dr has me set at- shes just sending me to this educator so my #s dont go any higher since I have been able to get "better' #S...

my starving BS has always been in the low 100's while A1C ranged from 5.5 to 6.2--

in 7-10 starving was 103 A1C 5.9
11-10 starving jumped to 115 while A1C 5.6

I dont understand

why no one likes the terms "pre" or borderline

if under 100 is normal and 126 is diabetic

I can see the grey area between 100-126 as being pre or borderline
