Hello from Ontario Canada! I am new to the forum and have a son diagnosed with type1 in 2006. He started the Medtronic Veo pump this week and I'm very impressed so far with how stable his blood sugar has been. He has been a little lower than his target at times, but I think we'll get that in check with basal adjustments and lots of patience. :)

I'm wondering if anyone knows where we can get some cool pump pouches/belts. Preferably Canadian sites, just because shipping charges from the US can be expensive. I've found some great US sites which I am considering...but would like to cut the shipping cost significantly if I can.

Looking forward to learning tips from others experiences, and sharing some of my own to help others.

If you are using ths CGM that comes with the Veo, and is waht really makes it work so well, you may not want to use a pouch of any kind as some of them can interfere with the signal fron the sensor.

I have not used the CGM that comes with this pump, so I have no experience with that feature. But I do have the Medtronic Rev 723.

This is a 'pump pouch' site I found on the Internet.

Collins Creations - Insulin Pump Pouches

Welcome and best wishes to your son. He is lucky to have a Mother like yourself :)

He isn't on the CGM just yet. Amazingly to me, we are getting these target numbers without the CGM! Something that we are not used to seeing. We will be introducing him to that piece of the puzzle in 6 months due to a study that we were lucky enough to get him into. But, that is a great point that I hadn't thought of. Thanks!
