We recently decided to be foster parents. I work for a local Indian tribe and we get emails about kids they need to place. A co-worker has 3 foster kids and knows the girl we are getting and asked if we would take her in. So we are having our first weekend visit with our 14 year old girl this weekend. :)

Hopefully by next week it will be full time.

We were afraid our one dog would have a hard time with her being here but she only barked at her a few times and was then in her lap wanting love... Which is so unlike her...she barks at everybody

How neat. Do you think she senses that the young girl needs love? Dogs are funny that way.

That's the best possible sign!

Congratulations and deepest respect.
