Air Fryer Steak Bites

The steak bites we made were filet mignon, but you could use sirloin or something else. 1-1.5 lbs of meat cut up into bite size pieces. The pieces are marinated in teriyaki sauce for 2-3 hours. then the marinate is tossed and the pieces of meat are put into a gallon size zip lock bag, Also into the bag put 1/2 T olive oil, 1/2 T Swerve brown sugar, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp chili powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder. Shake it up good to make sure all the bites are coated, then cook in an air fryer at 400 F for 6 minutes, then put the bites in a bowl. She makes a sauce in a small microwave safe bowl with 2 T butter, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, and 1/4 tsp parsley flakes. Microwave until butter is melted, stir up sauce, and pour over the cooked steak bites.

BH said the recipe was from one she saw on a Pinterest. She changed the original recipe by substituting filet for sirloin, marinating the meat first, and doing the sauce in in microwave and pouring it over the meat, instead of doing the sauce in a pan and adding the meat to it.

Air fryer. Period.

That’s pretty much all we use anymore. Steak, chicken, pork, bacon, seafood, etc.

That recipe does sound good. Going to have to try it.
