Apparently so . . . but it was expensive & didn't sell well, so Pfizer discontinued it.

Yes, Mannkind is awaiting FDA approval for their inhalable insulin now. They are supposed to have an answer by 12/29/10. You can do some research on their insulin, Afrezza, here:

Thanks for posting the blog link. wow, afrezza looks fantastic. The trial results looks spectacular, it will revolutionize the life of a diabetic - especially for kids.
