After a weekend of 3-4 hypoglycemia attacks and a long visit to the emergency room, my dear boy's bg has stabilized. Now it's Tuesday, he has a cold and fever. I've been watching out for high glucose readings but so far, the highest was last night at bedtime, 11.2. I guess we have to wait and see if there are any roller coaster rides today. He woke up with a 4.9 reading so I guess that's good. I'm still waiting on lunch time readings which would be very soon.

I hope you give that haughty nurse a piece of your mind after having asked her about this very thing last Thursday, and then spent the entire weekend battling it. 'discuss it next week' indeed. She should be horsewhipped.

Hi Shanny! We actually have an appointment with her on Friday. One of the endo's I was in touch with the whole weekend had advised me to discuss the events of the weekend with her. I'm going to try and get to know the staff at the clinic. Maybe if I'm really, really persistent,they'd take me more seriously.LOL!
