I have been trying to find some more information regarding BP medication. My doctor put me on a 5mg dose of lisinopril at my last visit. She said even though my BP was great, she wanted to me to take it to protect my kidneys. I wanted to understand more about why/how that works. If anyone can give me any further information, I would appreciate it. Thank you
