Hello, I am new here and heard about a medicine supplement named Altai Balance. If any of you have used it please let me know. Is it good or scam?

ajabsari, welcome to our Web site. I've edited your post somewhat because it is against site rules to link to products the way you did. I hope you'll go to our New Member Introductions forum and introduce yourself to the group!

Altai Balance, like dozens of other preparations marketed to people with diabetes, is not "medicine" requiring a diagnosis and a prescription; it is a supplement. As a supplement, at least in the United States, there is very little regulation of the claims the product makes in addressing medical conditions. So claims like "can stop taking your insulin" can be very dangerous.

I looked at the Web site for this product. It does have some minerals and compounds that have shown a positive effect on blood glucose levels at levels that the Altai Balance people do not often specify.

The short of it: How well this product works on anyone with diabetes is questionable and some of the claims the company makes are either unprovable or downright misleading. We're not doctors here, so we cannot issue medical advice, but if you're interested in taking a supplement like this, your best bet would be to discuss it with your doctor to ensure that the ingredients don't run against other medications you're taking or other conditions you have.
