Per a friend's suggestion, I had a no-sugar added Klondike bar after lunch yesterday. It was so good, I licked every once of chocolate off that wrapper.
I tested my BS two hours later to see what was going on and my meter read HI. It does that when you are way above it's range of readings. We tested my husband and changed the battery after a few more HI readings and it was normal for him.
It eventually went down after a diabetic-recipe burrito dinner (pretty good burrito btw).
So, can it be that just some foods, even if they are within my meal range of appropriate eating, just might not work? The product is made with nutrasweet (which I do not normally eat). Should I try it again?
Am I doomed to never have anything tasty again?
