I have been feeling pretty good lately, I am still on supplemental oxygen. Most of my serum immunoglobulins were out of normal ranges during my hospital stays for pneumonia. I just got a copy of my last test for my immunoglobulins and the only one in range is my immunoglobulin A. I have an appointment to see my infectious disease doctor early in February. I am sure he wants to start infusions. I really don't understand immunoglobulins. I have tried to research it on the internet and I got a couple of books from the library and I just don't understand. I like to know what is going on with my health and don't like to be in the dark. BTW, I think that some doctors need to spend time with their patients and make sure that they understand what is wrong with their body. Doctors are spending less time with their patients and keep raising their fees. I am finding that doctors are beginning to work out of multiple offices and it is hard to find a specialist that sees patients in the same office location, so this means that if you want to have your doctors near home, you may only have a choice to see your doctor on a certain day. I get so frustrated with the health care system in the USA. I am really not into politics, but I feel that the government needs to stop playing with the health care reform. If you pass a bill, then LEAVE IT ALONE, people get their hopes up only then to find out that it may be changed.
