This is a recipe shared to me by my cousin which is a real winner! It is so good over Optimist's crackers...I made it T'giving and it was eaten by all with OOHS and AAHS by all. It is so simple to be so good.

16 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz soft butter, unsalted
3 cloves garlic, mashed
1/2 t. oregano
1/4 t. basil, dill, marjoram & black pepper

Mix cream cheese and butter; add herbs and garlic. Refrigerate overnight for flavors to blend. Makes a good dip. Freezes well. Also good on hot vegetables. Really good on baked potatoes if they are on your diet plan. Makes about 30 or more servings.

I forgot, serve slightly warm, near room temp, but can be warmed in microwave.

That pleases me so much, Shanny! I've made it for years and everyone seems to really like it. Tough recipe, isn't it!

You must have found a special on CC? :)

How does this differ from the various Boursin spreads found at the supermarket?
