I'd be very unhappy if I were spiking to 190 on a regular basis, and if your A1c is 5.6, then you're having some hellacious lows that are offsetting those 190 and 177 readings.

I don't like it if my levels go over 140. If I have within my power to keep it lower, that's what I do, even if it means no rotis or other bread.
