Dear all
I have been treating my T2 for six months now. My HbA1c was 6,9 in December and 5,9 in April.
Last week my endo had changed some medications. As my cholesterol is good right now, he asked to stop symvastatin and as I´ve lost some extra weight these months(I have 5'11'. My weight was 176 and now is 154 lbs), he increased Metformin from 2 x 500mg to 2 x 850mg, so I could eat more without spikes.
The problem is that my BG is higher than last week.
My fasting increased from 94-98 to 120. After 2 hours, eating exactly the same thing, increased from 140-150 to 170-190.
I´ve called my endo today and he said me it can be a transition and to wait another week to see the results.
I am worried about that and don´t know if it makes sense at all. What do you think?
Thank you.
Fabio
