I would dearly love to be able to eat beans day in and day out . . . they're cheap & good for us. But I must limit them severely to avoid spikes. A spoonful or two of black beans in my homemade burritos is about the most I can handle any given day, and I prob'ly better not push that to
every day. I tolerate a few berries if I eat them with cream to offset the carb effect, but other fruits are also off limits for me. I know this because my meter tells me so!
