Just found a 2 pound bag of chia seeds at Costco for a pretty reasonable price. I know they are very healthy for you. Does anyone have any specific recipes using them. I'm thinking I would add them to my low carb breads or muffins.
I've done a lot of research on them. They are kind of like flaxseed but smaller. You don't have to grind them. They are a complete protein and packed full of calcium and Omega 3's. They are an ancient seed used by the Aztecs before battle to give them strength. They are also packed full of fiber. Yesterday I added a few tablespoons to MCS's peanut butter fudge recipe. Had great bgs all day.
