Why do pump supplies have to cost so much. My supplier won't send me any more until the balance on my account is paid off. Looks I will be have to say goodbye to my old friend.

Can you contact the manufacturer to see if they can give you aid? Many will or do you have a 'no cost' pharmacy nearby? There must be a way...

Good luck,

There is no help that I qualify for. They base it all on the governments idea of what poverty is. They don't consider if you have diabetes that it costs an extra $300 dollars a month just to stay alive.

Is there any chance at all that your Endocrinologist would have "extra pump supplies" on hand that he could give you? Or maybe he would know of a place that could help you until you can get the bill paid off?

Wow they have you over the proverbial barrel.
In my area there are some programs that help out with medications once or twice if you just cannot get them (not a fix but helps when you just can't get them and have to have them, buys you a month or 2 anyway). There may be something like that around you?
