I made three batches yesterday. (I had been out of crackers for a week and was getting desparate!)

One batch with dried diced onions.
One batch with Tamari soy sauce (with extra sesame seeds)
One batch with vanilla and some sweetener

Now I'm in seventh heaven! :hippie: :D

I"m really happy that so many of you loves the crackers!
A year ago the doctors finally foud why I lost so much weight and had so much pain in my stomach; I am multi-allergic :(
I can no longer eat any nuts, almonds, cod, shellfish, soya, gluten, any dairy-products at all (not even butter or cheese) or eggwhites.
I have also got IBS (Irritaded Bowl Syndrom) so there are several other things I can eat just a tiny bit of.
I couldnt live without my crackers, so I really soon found a way to make them (and love them) even without the almonds :)
I usually eat them with lots of mayonaisse, smoked salomon and spring-onion. That tastes really good!
Most of the days I start with Chia-porridge with some berries (50-100 gram) from the freeze. That is a meal that is easy to make, easy to like and it keeps you satisfied for a long time. I eat the crackers as snacks and also in the evening.

Good to "see" you again. Multiple food allergies are a real bummer (I know!). It's good, though, that you finally found out about them. I'm sure it makes a huge difference in the way you feel.

This is interesting. Could you please start a new thread and post the recipe for those? There are folks who are also allergic to nuts/almonds who would probably love to be able to make your nut-free crackers.

Oh, goodie gumdrop! i've been worried about you and it's so good to hear from you, Optimist. I keep some of those wonderful crackers at all times and think of you when I eat one. I'm so glad you are back and that you've solved your health issues. I have food issues too, but not as many as you have, and learning to eat around them is a real problem.

Welcome back. You've been missed!
