Every now and then I see some gooey pastry dessert-y thing -- something I never cared for even when I could eat all the sugar -- and think "that looks mighty good!" Then I think about how I'll feel after I eat any significant amount of it and pass. And I'm keto and fat adapted. It is weird.

I can't say that I've ever had cravings for a food I didn't like, but I do get tempted by things I once ate that are simply too sweet now. I once adored Twinkies but gave them up (as I gave up all sweets) when I was first diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I had a Twinkie last year and it was intolerably sweet. Family member bought me a Twinkie pan earlier this summer, so I'm going to try to make my own with a lot less sweetness. Old woman's Twinkie - won't tempt any kid......
