Hi,

My Name is David and this is my situation and I am hoping that someone could help me out with this. Right now I am planning on going to Lebanon for a year sometime between march and june of 2011 to volunteer as a cook for a home that serves at risk and needy children. I am a type 1 diabetic of 18 years, with a1c of high 6's low 7's. My problem is this, I won't be making money while I am over there, and have to raise support to go. I can't seem to find any medical insurance to cover me, and the out of pocket cost is pretty high. I use one touch ultra test strips and meter, Humalog, lantus, and bd syringes. I was wondering if anyone knows of any help in regards to cutting costs. I think after office visits, lab work and supplies... cost is like 10k. Any suggestions on lowering costs, possibly getting donations (supplies or otherwise) Insurance companies, or even missions agency information? [I am going with my church] I could use prayer too.

Blessings
