These 6 videos are not new News but I noticed they were posted on youtube only a month ago so I thought I'd put it in this section anyways since something new might come from it.

I(and probably many of you) saw this show(W5)about 3 yrs. ago but I haven't heard anything about the supposed further testing in the US of Dr. Valdez's work. What's happening with it? I still don't know what to think about Xenotransplantation.

Xenotransplantation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If I was in bad shape due to Diabetes then I would consider it since there would be nothing to lose.

I said the same thing many years ago that the Canadian Researcher said. "Banting and Best are probably rolling in their graves knowing that no one has come up with a Cure for Diabetes".

I wonder if Donna Wright is still alive. She lives in my city, if she is. She looks almost duplicate to my Husband's Aunt. She was dxd. with Gestational Diabetes with her 3rd Son and the Diabetes went away after his birth. She got it permanently with her 4th Son. She just didn't take Diabetes seriously. She sadly died 16 yrs. later at age 44.

A cure, Maybe

Hello Terrie, Thanks for showing that here as I think that there is a good transplant hope for Valdes and also from faustman's lab with the halting the killer T-cels from attacking the iscelet cells from being distroyed. :)

Hi Peter: :)

Yes, Dr. Faustman's work looks promising but this xenotransplantation certainly has its place also. Millions would jump at any chance for a cure.

Hey Richard: :)

I hope that you are feeling decent. Would you believe that I can't find
a single article about Dr. Valdes's transplant update. I have looked
everywhere. It's like it's been wiped off the globe. When I went to his
site, I noticed that the news articles just said error. I did find on a
Diabetes health site, a 5 line article that said the Xenotransplantation
was on-going, but it didn't mention his name. Mmmmm. I will keep looking.

Hi Richard:

Geez, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through the Cellulitis again. All these darn complications due to Diabetes, eh? I do hope that your treatment goes Well for you and that you won't be bothered by it again. Feel better and Good Luck to you there Richard. If I can help somehow, just ask.

As far as the Xenotransplantation, Pandora's box has been opened and there is no turning back now. The research and experiments are on-going. It had to happen sometime. We just hope and pray that there are no or few casualties along the way.

Here is the contact(bottom left) if anyone is interested in further info concerning these specific Clinical Trials:

I wonder if Donna Wright is still alive.
I came across this post while searching for Donna's name. I am sad to report that Donna passed away last night, March 19, 2012.

I worked with Donna's husband, Gord, for 8 years and had been to their house for Christmases many times.

I had lost touch with them a few years ago, and it was one of my former co-workers who contacted me yesterday to give me that bad news.

Still I bet it was exciting to find mention of someone you knew! Enjoy the archives and keep reading....
Hmmm... wouldn't call it "exciting"... perhaps surprising.

And yes, I realized that the post was 4 years old, but everyone who responded to the post would get an email with the info, so I was just answering the question of the original post ("Is she still alive?").

Fight the good fight people.

Cheers

Jamie
