my wife had Gestational Diabetes..

she had to take insulin when she was pregnant..
and could stop the insulin as soon as she delivered the baby..

She is close to being a diabetic now..
With diet and regular workout she is maintaining ok.
We did not plan much - but after the 1st one we kind of know she is very likely to get Gestational Diabetes..

diabetes in my pregnacy

This is my third pregnancy and this one have have diabetes with it. I am taking night medication to help. The diet is really hard but i am going to keep going and hope i dont keep it.

I'm GD , and i follow a healthy diet that my doctor gave me. i think all the moms must understand and educate themselves with the right education and precautions,..Good luck to all

Stephanie, in your intro thread a few days ago, you said that you're not diabetic and that your mom had GD when she was pregnant with you. Have you found out otherwise in the past two days? Please continue in your http://www.diabetesforum.com/introduce-yourself/34337-hello.html#post467137 thread by telling us the details of the healthy diet prescribed by your doctor to treat your GD.

well i have two weeks left in my pregnacy im hoping that the diebeties leave with the baby but if it doesnt then atleast i have a great place to come for advise and help.
