Awake
Eat high fiber breakfast
Take Metformin
Drive to a deserted area
Jog for 2 hours
Eat a small bag of potato chips, 3 Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and a Crunchie chocolate bar
Drive home
Check blood sugar and notice spike

Conclusion - do not eat chocolate bars and potato chips

You sure it wasn't the 2 hours of jogging? :p

Look at a person that just ran a marathon, then look at a person who just ate two slices of deep-dish pizza. Of the two, the marathoner looks MUCH closer to death... (and the pizza-eater looks pretty happy) :D

(And yes, I know... pizza = carbs = bad. I'm just having fun, lol.)

EDIT: OMG I want a Crunchie now...

I jog 2 hours every day. Lost 54 pounds in 3 months. It's now my drug of choice.

I did the exact experiment today but only had the potato chips and came in at a healthy BS of 4.7.

Will try again next week with chocoalte bars and no potato chips.

Stay tuned for the conclusion.
