You sure it wasn't the 2 hours of jogging?
Look at a person that just ran a marathon, then look at a person who just ate two slices of deep-dish pizza. Of the two, the marathoner looks MUCH closer to death... (and the pizza-eater looks pretty happy)
(And yes, I know... pizza = carbs = bad. I'm just having fun, lol.)
