Got my first A1C test since going on the pump back in May. I was quite discouraged, to say the least. I was looking forward to seeing the result..I thought (along with my doctor) that I'd be well under 7, but nope, 7.6. My previous result before the pump was 7.7. So turns out the pump really is not making much of a difference at all. Blah. I really wish I knew what I was doing wrong, I don't recall the last time I was happy with my A1C.

I had simalar results when I first got my pump. It actually stayed that way for the first year and then I got the CGM that went with it and discovered that my basals were not what the doctors thought they were. I now do my own adjustments and won't leave that responsobility to some one that has nothing to loose if they get it wrong.
