Don't know what to say.......uh...HELP?

Sorry, I know this isn't related to diabetes, but I'm kind of stuck in a weird place right now.

I have some friends who have had nothing but the most heinous crap thrown at them since they got married back in 2000. They love each other very much, but the entire universe is against them, literally.

He has been in prison because of a liar who made false claims against both of them, with no proof of any kind. He served his time and he's been out for about 5 years now. They have both been digging themselves out of a literal hole that keeps collapsing in on them.

They have 3 kids and neither has been able to find a steady job. They are both religious, but have recently been burned badly by it. And it's gotten worse this past week.

My friends are highly intelligent, but they just can't seem to get any kind of break. On top of that, her mother had heart surgery and now she's having to take care of her as well as trying to keep her family from going thru more hell.

She sent me an email stating she just doesn't know why any of this is happening. She is beside herself. They now have to move...again.

She is usually on the ball and has things figured out, even though the universe keeps shoveling the crap on top of them every day........but this time, she's done lost her mojo.

I would like someone of some potential "celebrityism" to give them some words of encouragement, but I'm at a loss of who to contact, as they both don't go in for all that celebrity stuff.

Is there anybody who isn't politically motivated, or biased, or anything like that, that I can contact to send her some words of wisdom? I'm kind of lost on this myself, as we all thought the hell was all over with and they could get on with their lives, but apparently there are some busybodies who think it's their business to keep shoveling the lies and BS to other people to spread around.

She can take some words of wisdom and run for years on it. Unfortunately, I'm all "wisdomed out". LOL

I"m not sure they need celebrity encouragement as much as they need to have a plan to compensate for some bad choices they probably made.

Why is he unable to find a job? What is his work history?

It's not the choices they make/made.......it's more along the lines of the evil people that seem to be drawn to them like magnets. And unfortunately for them, most of them have been from their own families.

I don't really remember what he did before they got married, because he was framed and arrested soon after they got married (jealous family member made up lies). She was a para-legal for the longest time until she had her first kid.

I think he is good with repairing electronics. But his prison record follows him around, so it's difficult for him to find anything....even though he has worked for one of the police departments in one of the towns they lived before, and the Chief of Police even wrote him a letter of recommendation.

As far as "celebs" go, I wasn't thinking of people like Cher or Britany Spears or anybody like that....I was thinking more like authors, speakers, professors. She is a very intelligent woman and can get a lot from a little bit of wisdom from literate, knowledgeable people.

They seem to be doing ok right now as things have settled down, but thats usually when the BS hits again.....just when they are able to stop and take a breath.
