One of our tried & true recipes for many years - only now getting around to making it with Dreamfields. The original name of it, from Johnson City NY Jaycees cookbook, was
Tom's Friday Treat
3/4 cup sliced black olives
2 cups cooked macaroni (delete two full minutes from designated cooking time of the Dreamfields pasta, drain immediately)
4 ounces sliced sautéed mushrooms
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1/2 cup cashew pieces
12 ounces tuna, well drained
1 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Combine olives, macaroni, mushrooms, green pepper, cashews & tuna. Add sour cream & oregano and mix well. Spoon into a 1½ quart casserole & top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
