I was researching the detrimental effects of high blood sugar last night. And the fact that it causes damage to your brain is clear to me. But I couldn't find any unbiased information on the extent of the damage. Or at what levels the damage starts to take place. Could somebody please give me some frank and truthful answers? Thanks in advance!

My go-to place for reliable diabetes information is Blood Sugar 101 After reading your post, I went there and typed brain into their search box and ended up with a whole lot of hits. I'm sure you'll be able to find the information you are searching for there.

By the way, welcome to the forum.
