I keep getting the above error from Cloudflare ('This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks'), so that I am mostly unable to even view this forum site, much less log in to post. I have followed the directions I found online, such as enabling cookies and clearing cache and even rebooting, but continue to get the error. I am using a VPN with virtual IP and I'm wondering if that makes Cloudflare think my IP address is a threat.

This is the first time I've been able to get on the site in roughly 48 hours, which is frustrating.

Hoping somebody sees this and has some workable suggestions to get around this annoying bit of security.

@fangirl , I haven't been experiencing this myself, but we can escalate this to our tech support. I have used a VPN for this site on other occasions and have not had issues in seeing the site, but something may have changed on our end. Let me check this out for you and we'll do our best to get back with an answer.

@fangirl , I've found some additional troubleshooting/resolution steps that can be taken to address this problem, but those have to be performed at a level higher than the tech support us Mods can provide. I've brought the issue up to our tech support just now (email) and will let you know what I hear from them. They also may be able to contact you directly if there's information they need from your side.

I had no problem accessing and logging in this morning, so perhaps tech support has done something in the interim. In any case, thank you for looking into the issue! I would like to remain active here, but if I continue to have difficulty you may not see me around much. Don't take my silence for disinterest, it's just a matter of access.
