I had an eye exam tonight. I do not have any damage and still have a prescription just for reading...though it is stronger. I am glad I only live a half a mile from the eye doctor cause driving with dilated eyes was not fun.

Yikes! Scares me enough that I even let DH drive, and that is SCARY! Wonderful that you're showing no damage . . . keep on keepin' on, Mindy!

I need new glasses bad. Having trouble reading. My insurance will pay for exam but not frames or lenses so I'm screwed for now

I couldn't hardly see, I got glasses. My eyes changed again and I couldn't see with the glasses or without. Have another appt in a month.
While I'm showing no damage they keep fluctuating. Maybe I'll just go back to the readers and the heck with it if I can't see clearly in the distance. A lot cheaper.

I started having problems with my glasses in July 2009, by Christmas, I had 4 prescription changes. This was getting very expensive. I went to my eye doctor who told me that I had cataracts and the only way for the prescrption changes to stop would be to have the cataracts removed. After thinking about it, I chose to have the cataracts removed. My eye sight is sharp and clear, I don't need to wear my glasses to drive, but I do wear them to drive for the best vision. I am still using the prescription that I got last July. I have no regrets! Maybe you might want to see if you have any cataracts. It is very important to stay on top of getting your eyes checked twice a year, more if you are having problems. :)

I had my eye exam the other day and it showed a small amount of damage in my left eye because of the diabetes. The Retina Specialist is going to start checking me every 6 months now instead of only once a year. Out of all the things that can go wrong that one I think scares me the most.
Crap....I'm falling apart.
