Pangasius is a sturdy white fish with a neutral taste. It has no bones and it's ideal to make fish cakes. Have you tried baking it? Try this recipe, you won't regret it.
4 pangasius fillets
1/4 white cabbage, finely shredded
raw pea pods, finely shredded
1 stalk of green celery, finely shredded
2 spring onions, sliced diagonaly
juice of 1/2 lemon
sea salt
1/2 teaspoon of sugar or liquid sweetener
little bit of oil
freshly chopped parsley
Pour some oil over the fish. Bake the fillets in a non-stick pan until they are brown.
Mix the veggies in a bowl.
Combine the lemon juice, salt, sweetener and oil in a container and whisk it until you become a smooth dressing.
Add the dressing to the salad.
Add the parsley and with both hands, toss the salad.
Divide the cole slaw over two plates. Add the fish. Cut some lemon slices to go with the fish.
NOTE: people that do not like fish, might really enjoy pangasius
NOTE: people that lack time to cook, have not tried this recipe before. You will pass on take aways.
