I am able to eat a small amount of oat groats w/o causing a significant spike in BG. I am interested in adding flaxseed meal in the oat groats for the Omega 3 because I do not want to take the oil capsules. Does anyone know the impact of flax on BG? Will it slow the rise in blood sugar from the oats or raise it in your opinion?
