Ok, I am newly type 2 diagnosed and am just learning what works and what doesn't, but I swear that English tea has an effect by lowering my BG. I can't really explain it with any science, but I drink quite a lot of tea and after 3/4 mugs I always seem to find my BG lower (by differing amounts, but lower). Can anyone explain this to me? Has anyone had the same experience?
