Hi,

I'm 56, diabetic (type II). Not very well controlled, as I have an eating disorder (I never eat before late afternoon, mostly at suppertime, as I have no appetite).

Have fibromylgia which brought on a weight gain, then diabetes, which brought on hypertension and high level of cholesterol.

Greetings.

Welcome Sue, You can find help here as we look at keeping happy & healthy lives. I live in Australia in the most populated south east of the country. I am a Type 1 and don't understand much of Type 2's as it's some what different to me. Cholesterol is my bug bare too and I have to break the ice to get into fruit more and exercise is another thing. :)

Hello Sue, welcome to our community! I hope you are seeing an endocrinologist (diabetes specialist) so that you will be more certain of your diagnosis, medications prescribed and your overall treatment. Ask all the questions you want, we are here to help. Good luck to you!

Welcome Sue. I am sure that whatever your looking for you will find here-- warm, friendly people and great answers. I do hope that you are able to get an appetite, as I too use to have that problem.. After a few super lows you learn to eat even if your don't want to ....
